IBM to start a Second Life Business Group
In January IBM will launch a business group to deal with the unique characteristics of making money in Second Life. IBM believes that Second Life has potential for the training of employees, conferences and meetings, and commerce. IBM execs have said that IBM Chief Executive Sam Palmisano’s arrival in Second Life was what sold it for them citing “If its good enough for him it’s good enough for me.” No, you’re not reading the Onion, this is real news.
